Ham and Shem were described both as being dark, with Shem being lighter, Ham as dark as a raven, tall and beautiful and Shem as being dark too almost undifferetianted, Japheth was probably olive skinned. They all probably had colored, since Noah was described as being blond, dark skinned, and blue eyed.

Is there any Somalian oral tradition that states that they were berbers? The Arabs actually have statements from famous berber lineage scholars and some claim Ham and some claim Sam like some branches of the Tuareg and others. There is however no mention of Somalians. What is the criterion of one to be considered Somalian according to their most knowledgeable elders and historians?

This is somewhat of a non-sequitur. Berbers are a subset of Hamitic people referred to as Western Hamites. The Somalis and other Afro-Asiatic Horner groups belong to the Eastern Hamitic branch, which is more closely associated with Egypt. Hence, why many belong to the E1b1b-M78 and T lineages that are frequent amongst Afro-Asiatic populations in the Nile Valley. They also share maternal DNA (such as haplogroup M1) and autosomal DNA, and cluster together craniometrically. There is an entire thread on toponymic and other connections that ancient Greek, Arab and Chinese writers drew between these Eastern Hamitic areas and some Western Hamitic areas.
