Today ethnic Brits are a mixture of at least 4 or more Caucasian ethnic groups. These include the Celts otherwise known as Iberians (the Celtic or Iberian origin is from Central Asia, they migrated into Europe), the Anglo-Saxons or Angels from Scandinavia, the word England and English come from "Angelland" or Land of the Angels they were a warlike, nomadic, Nordic peoples from Northern Europe. The Brits are also mixed with obscure peoples such as the Picts, Gaels, and of course older Hamitic populations who have come to Europe in the ancient times (Read the Invasion of Ireland). Though Brits are mostly "White" or "Caucasian", several Caucasian groups have contributed to British genes and history.
Interestingly enough at the time of Julius Ceaser, Pliny, Josephus, and many others have described that certain peoples of the British Isles as "Black", "Dark", and or "Egyptian" including the Picts and the Welsh, among them were the builders of StoneHenge who were described as "Sons of Cham" or Ham, and or "Fomorians" or "Moriens" meaning "Moors". Among the knights of King Arthur's table was a Sir Morien (Black) described as "black of face and limb", from Libya. The story goes that a White British man has taken him from North Africa to Europe.
Many people in Ireland divide the Irish people into "Black Irish" and "White Irish", the Black Irish of course today are those who have black hair and eyes those resembling the likes of Collin Ferrel (who by the way looks very Greek or Italian), his ancestors are the children of Cham who came to Ireland in the ancient times. In the ancient Gaelic or Celtic languages including Welsh, some of the invading Vikings were White and some were described as Black. They were called "Finn-Gael" or "White Foriegners" and "Dubh-Gael" or "Dan-Gael" Dan in the Celtic language meant "Black", and Finn meant "White". Today the Finnish and Danish peoples are mostly white skinned, however in Medieval times and in ancient there were many accounts of Black and White warlike peoples in Europe both Caucasian however.
Thorhall a man who was one of the vikings that sailed to North America with Eric the Red was described as such, "the huntsman in summer, and in winter the steward of Eric the Red. He was, it is said, a large man, and strong, black, and like a giant, silent, and foul-mouthed in his speech, and always egged on Eric to the worst; he was a bad Christian.”
The black skinned peoples in early Europe were called "Blaumen" or "Blue Men" this is the origin of the "Blue Bloods" and of course the "Black Nobility", which considered having a direct lineage to Libya, Egypt and Ethiopia as royal rather than to barbaric Germanic tribes.
Gwyn Jones (perhaps the world’s leading authority on the subject), to the Welsh chroniclers, “The Danes coming in by way of England and the Norwegians by way of Ireland were pretty well all black: Black Gentiles, Black Norsemen, Black Host.”
Eventually in Europe the Hamitic peoples were mixed out by the invading Indo-European Germanic tribes, and the Celtic tribes who removed the Hamitic tribes from power.
